thanks mate love the van! so are these still up and running? I have tried ringing them but no answer?
Couldn't tell you if they are still in business, they appear to be from the website. They have a centre in Harlow Essex as well. They did used to be called PTS (professional training solutions) and had a name change a few years ago, not sure what the reason for that was.
Hi Grant, and welcome to TF, I would not bother with the 4 week courses if I were you they are a waste of time, they will give you the very basics of the art that is real tiling.
I would suggest you contact a TF member, user name Deano, he will put you right, he has been a college lecturer, and writes the criteria for C&G papers.
Tiling is a very highly skilled trade when done correctly, sticking a few tiles on a cubicle is a million miles away from being a tiler.
Good luck with it though.
wasnt a waste of time for me.
wasnt a waste of time for me.
I have just tried to let him down gently on another site. Poor sod.I don't think you did a course in Warrington did you Sharon? I will stick to my post, a 4 week course will never make a tiler, never in this world of God. I would love to see some of these course people on a real tiling job. Not just bathroom bashing or a bit of bespoke work, but all round tiling, power vibro floors, twin tiles, floated coat, acid resistant, real geometrics, restoration, swimming pools. I could go on forever, but I won;t. Suffice to say there are "tilers, and there are tilers"
