The LSC have just recently announced funding availability in the West

Midlands for training centres / colleges that offer the following training & support:

City Strategy - Engagement Support
City Strategy – Support for Lone and Teenage Parents
IAG Support for Redundancy (non-Manufacturing)
Employer Skills Programme
Improving the Skills base in the Energy and Utility sectors
Full NVQ Level 2 Training Programme
Skills for Entrepreneurs

This is a lengthy application process for centres looking to tender, but the LSC plan to fund courses from May '08.

This is ideal for those looking to do an NVQ2 / ICA or other accredited training course.

You must be from the midlands region to qualify for this funding stream.

Ask at your local centre to see if they qualify for this funding.

Also, click here for the LSC website to see what funding is available to other centres / colleges across the UK in the future.
