Probably the only thing i buy from Topps are some transition strips they sell that take up a 15mm height differance.
Sometimes what i do is put about a 2 inch wide strip of 6mm ply under the carpet underlay at the edge going from the door way casings.
This brings up the carpet floor level and you dont notice a hard edge with the underlay and carpet over the ply
