Got a ladey whohas got some nice pre filled travertine and wants me to put it in a shower for her, first question is what is the best type of sealer to use out of the two, as in the surfice sealer or the one that is absorbed, or can i use a combination of both? also the shop she got it from has told her to do all the sealing as it will save here money, what do you think about this?

cheers guys.

Lithofin stainstop mn will be fine and never let a customer do your sealing...never....!!!
you are the offering the guarantee and need to do the job yourself and also make sure it is done correctly.......

cheers dave. The problem is this one shop they always tell them to do it, they tell them to keep doing it till the tile wont take any more, i like to go with a max of three, befor fixing after grout and cleaning and one more if need be.

Filled honed travertine doesnt require sealing befor fixing the grout should slide off it, tiling should be done then left a day b4 grouting then sealed a day or so after.
