Travertine small tiles

Got a call from a local tiler asking me to help him out over the other side of London. I started today, good money by the way, a down stairs shower room, around 16 m2, a horrid boxed unit with a horse shoe type base. The stone is 100 x100 travertine.

Using Mapei maxi, I like it alot. I've done just over 9m2 today, the tiler is happy with that meterage, was it enough? The floor has to be done as well. Also, I had to put in these border tiles about 300 mm from the floor and they had to be mitred.

Only one probem, upstairs I have 30 m2 of the same in the main bathroom..............but I am thinking of pay day!!!!

Just be careful, the more you do the more they expect...I have a builder who will only pay me day rate, and wont let me price jobs...thats fine he pays me £180 per day so he only get £180 worth of tiles laid..

I did a 100x100 kitchen last week, glazed porcelain.Only 3m2, Thought I would be polishing of by noon. Turned out I was there till 7.15 pm. So well done.:hurray:
