Travertine tips

Starting a job tomorrow laying 60 x 30 travertines. Never layed the stuff before and was after some tips, things like what is the best way to cut it etc etc

All wet cuts..........cuts like a dream really........unless polished travertine.

Also as you know..........white addy...........plenty of sealer.........ivory grout.

Will my Plasplugs master tiler handle them ok do you think?

Should be ok but be careful, Travertine has a nasty habit of fracturing along the natural fault lines. Have a good look at pieces to be cut before cutting them.

You can use your dry cutter to make score lines on the tiles that you can follow on your wet cutter..........

Just out of interest what do you lot charge for Travertine? I am doing this bathroom for 35sqm, that an ok price or more for travertine?
