trowel size

Hi all I always use a 20 mm round notch with traventine on floors but would it be the same on walls? I thought a 8mm square notch would be ok. dont know whats best. thanks

It will depend on state of walls, and size of tile, but i would've thought an 8mm or 10mm square notch would be fine.

I use 8mm square if walls are good(very),
10mm otherwise,

if it's larger travertine would defo use a 10mm trowel
