Have you had anymore response from your flyers? It was something i'd considered but was worried the response rate would be so low it'd not be worth it. Having said that if you get one job off the back it may pay for its self?

I'd also consider free paper ads and post office window ad. Also - get some business cards printed up (vistaprint.co.uk offer <almost>free cards - just pay for postage) and hand them out to friends, family, colleagues - perhaps offer a bottle of wine for each referral you get!

hi simpsonspro and welcome, try speaking to other trades in your area like bathroom and kitchen fitters even if its to let them know your a tiler, not suggesting you do this but one of my tilers came up to me in a showroom and said ' i need some work to fill my portfolio, let me do 1 day of tiling for you, if you don't like my work just pay me for my materials if you like my work give some regular? ' i've known the cheeky sod for four years now and he tiles for us regular....above all keep talking to people at the local tile shops,merchants wherever and always have some cards in your pocket....
