TTA tv campaign...........

What do you members think about the latest campaign from the TTA..

The Tile Association has negotiated a deal to launch a TV advertising campaign to be shown on UKTV style channel over a number of weeks beginning in mid-april.

The campaign is intended to increase awareness of The Tile Association and its members, and to encourage consumer aspirations towards tiles in all parts of there home.


Do you think the consumer will start to take notice of this and ask tilers if they are registered or do you think it will make no difference..?........

TV is a powerful medium. The type of people that watch that channel may well be influenced in my opinon.

It is possible that it would have positive effect on peoples attitude to tiling as a skill and open their eyes to what is involved. Maybe then we can get paid realistic amounts for our work.

I wont make a bit of difference, customer will still go with the cheapest quote. And people who watch those channels are normally at home all day as they are on benefits and cant afford tiling anyway.
