Tumbled Limestone from Topps

Hi, I intend to start tiling my kitchen this weekend. I have from Topps Tiles Tumbled Limestone 100mm x 100mm tiles. Firstly do I Seal the tiles before fitting? I am going stright onto plaster, is it best to use a primer to the walls before fitting. I have left over from my last job some Ardex P51 primer, will this be ok? I will be using Bicsem tile adhesive, as I have lots of this in stock. Thanks, Jeff

Hi, Again, forgot to mention about the window reveals. I dont like trims around the windows, so I intend to mitre the corners and grout. Is this method ok, thanks, Jeff

Hi Jeff,firstly seal 2 coats of Fila Limestone impregnator before tiling,lay them out in the garage.Without the sealer the tiles will stain on touching them beware.Prime the walls with p51,no need to mitre the windows just overlap the reveal tiles over your wall cuts.Grout up with BAL Limestone wide joint grout

Superflex ivory wall is fine but only grout very small amounts at a time before washing off.Superflex has an epoxy resin content so keep on top of it

hi jeff when mitering the corners finish the mitres off with a tile file to leave nice smooth mitres and no sharp edges...
