Hi,
I have finished my first (DIY) tiling job, well the tiling part, I am gradually doing the finishing bits.
Anyway, I used 60x30 porcelain on the walls. It has a texture to it.
I used this on top of the shower tray:
I used it because the convex curve was discreet. I don't like the big concave ones.
The tile was a very snug fit into the channel.
Now that it is all together I am a bit worried, as I never put any Silicon done into the channel. Was I supposed to?
It is a very tight fit so perhaps the water will not go in.
I am not able to prise the face from the tile to get any in.
The instructions on the back of the tile trim did not mention Silicon usage.
If I am supposed to have used Silicon I guess I will cut off the concave bit, apply Silicon between tile and shower, and refit some form of concave one in front, with Silicon, unless there are better ideas?
