Ufh And Ply

So, i have a conservatory to tile with 200 x900 porc with wet ufh and 22mm ply on top. The ply is deflection free but i don't like tiling on it. Would ideally backer board it but worried about insulation properties. So, the plan is ditra. Is this the route you guys would go?

I would tile straight on it as long as it's solid.

Why is there ply on top of the UFH? Sounds a bit like a floating floor to me. Destined for problems there IMO

I saw it today and it's well fixed without deflection. I'm a bit unsure on this though

Would you have the height for 6mm hardie on top?

repair a few of these over the years Harry, no Ditra was used, tiles came up clean.

Height no issue. Does hardie not insulate? Would hardie and ditra be overkill? A big flash house and a big flash budget too!

It's not ideal but I'm with julian, Ditra for expansion & contraction of the ply.

Any disadvantages to use a thin decoupler on this?
