Hi,

May I just ask, is the seminar open to all members on this forum or just the people that do it as a profession?

I'm not a tiler, but would be really interested in attending.

If you can/want to fit UFH then you are all welcome to come along. There is only one condition.....from now on you may only buy from www.uheat.co.uk !!!

depends when you run it. I've done both electric and wet installations, so is this course for complete novices or would I benefit from it as well???

so far there has been a great response so need to see which is going to be best way of doing it. We may look on doing several sessions in 1 day.

some for beginners and some for people who have fitted before but would like to know more indepth info.

as soon as i sort it out i will let all those that are keen know.

I'd love to come Aaron - is it open to non-trades people - I joined the forum from a personal perspective 'cos I'm a perfectionist when it comes to DIY so like to learn from those in the know...

i would prefer to keep this to trades people so the numbers dont get silly but lets see what happens. I am always available on the phone if you have any questions you would like answered.

I would be very interested, but as i will up in Glasgow, the timing will be everything, i guess you will be giving plenty of notice of the date, so i will sent a definite answer when i know the date and time.
Thanks for doing this

i am coming up your way (should be 2nd Feb) i have already agreed to meet shieldsy101 and dave campbell. i am happy for you to come along too. it will not be the same sort of thing but can run through the main bits with you all as i am up there to see customers.
let me know via PM if you can make it.

Hi All,

As Dan said yesterday in the newsletter sent out '2009 is certainly a year that as a tiler, or homeowner, we'll need a little help if we can get it to ensure we're still fitting bathrooms and kitchens at large.'

So as a little help, I am looking to do an underfloor heating seminar at Yorkshire Tiling Academy in Bradford and would like to gage everyone's interest in something like this.

If you have unanswered questions about ufh, If you would like to see a system fitted, If you would like to know more about the features and benefits to help sell it you your clients.

I do training sessions on a regular basis at YTA but would like to offer this out to all on Tilers Forum. Please reply to the thread to let me know if you would be interested or not, and what you might like to see covered.

Before you ask.....it will be FREE!

Thanks,
Living down South can't attend but intersted in topic.
Bought a kit and insulation boards for a 15sq metre conservatory with all the bits, programmer etc for £450.The guy at the underfloor heating store web site was so helpfull would highly recommend.
Am currently researching Economy 10 tarrifs with electricity suppliers. I am developing Excel spreadsheet to work out whether to switch from economy 7 to 10. At the moment the break point seems to be around 1200 units of off -peak where it would be worth the change. Would be happy to pass it on as the sort of thing to consider.
Would be interested in any laying tips before this Sunday as screeding over ufh mat with latex compound is due Monday.
All the best
Chris

That would be fantastic I would love to attend this. I am based in Central Scotland so any details on a date etc would be helpfull.

For all the other guys in scotland you can get a direct train to york from Glasgow and Edinburgh, could change at york to all other areas etc.

You can put me down for it !

Please forward on further details whenever you can
