As they say above , see if there are cracks, but I'd still say give the customer the option.
Price it up and say what the cost with or without ditra. I always advise it now, i've seen too many screeds crack, even after a few years.
Its a doddle to fix, and its an easy day you get paid for, plus its piece of mind.

yeah layed it a few times now not ditra but topp's own stuff they use

Urgh, you can find alsorts under old lino!!!
Yep good point TJ about the screed cracking by now, but my Virgo worrier brain would say, it didn't crack with lino, but we're going to add a whole new flooring system that will resist any movement way more than the lino, so i'd still put it back in the customers hands, at least they've had the choice, belt 'n' braces or the unknown......
