As they say above , see if there are cracks, but I'd still say give the customer the option.
Price it up and say what the cost with or without ditra. I always advise it now, i've seen too many screeds crack, even after a few years.
Its a doddle to fix, and its an easy day you get paid for, plus its piece of mind.

yeah layed it a few times now not ditra but topp's own stuff they use
