The Legend; Phil Hobson RIP

superb Phil!! bathroom in pic 5, are they Villeroy & Boch tiles? they look like them and if so they're one of the hardest tiles to cut that I've come across.

Yeah Doug,Villeroy & Boch. As you say not the easiest to cut:thumbsup:

really nice work mike, lots of curvey challenges! What did you use to board the curved part or the bath frame?

yeah nothing straight forward with the tiling! the customers are both in their seventies, bit old for a new build imo lol. i made the frame out of wood, then kinked plasterboard then bonding to get the curve. used a sigma for the thin tiles as the rubi wouldnt cut them.. cheers mike

Here's a hallway i did, when the couple moved into the house 20+ years ago, they had a floor HPIM0488.jpg HPIM0490.jpg like this , but ripped it up and threw it away, they always regretted it, and finally i went and tiled it for them, they were over the moon. pictures are in low resolution and final cleaning not yet completed

Quality job and a quality looking stone too, I really like it. You should see about doing this tiling lark full time as your getting quite good at it.........
