Hey everyone,
I’m getting ready to install tile on a small patio area and ran into a bit of a hiccup. The existing concrete base has a few low spots not huge dips, but enough that it might mess with the tile leveling.
A concrete contractor I worked with before (he helped me with a driveway fix) once mentioned that slight unevenness can be corrected without tearing out the whole slab, but I didn’t ask him much about it at the time.
I’m just wondering if I should use a leveling compound to fix these spots before tiling, or if it’s something I can deal with while laying the tile? I’d rather not get too deep into it unless I have to.
Thanks for any suggestions!
