not to sure what to do now, shall i bond it then tile on it or use rapidset. its getting me stressed cos never been in this situation
Tysfoot mate, I think what you need to be doing is bring the wall level first before tiling. Do this by layering up the uneven bits with rapidset until everything is flat. You will need to prime the wall first as it is gypsum, using an acrylic primer. You don't need to prime each layer of rapidset.

Once you have a flat wall, you can tile straight onto it with your choosen adhesive.

I've used this in the past, and I'm about to use it again.

It's not the cheapest solution. Focus sell it for £7.99 for 10KG, which isn't bad.

What I want to know is how uneven a wall has to be before people consider it necessary to dub it out?
