only popped by following an email message. Sounds like a job I was faced with. I could have tiled the floor but it was the wrong solution for the lady - various reasons - told her I couldn't do it and recommended either vinyl or laminate or similar. I know she had a bloke in who installed the vinyl and was chuffed to bits. Any way you could explain in more detail why the previous work is crap and you can't bring yourself to bodge it, whilst offering a solution where you do a proper job on this one at rock bottom price - call it a loss leader - looking forward to taking on the other 3 when funds allow? I think supermarkets call it loss leaders. As others have said - a favour now will be your bodge in later years - bang goes the reputation. Have fun
