Van went for mot this morning.
Phoning ministry of transport, vosa inspector and the poilce tomorrow.

Van went in with 104,672 out with 130,556

They say they haven't done anything but they were playing with electrics to get the horn to work prior to mot.

I have photo evidence on the 06/04 ( 16 days ago) showing 104k.

They say it's not possible to happen. This is a well known local garage.

Fact is, it went in with 104 and went to pick up showing 130k, they have been working on it all day having had a problem trying to fix the horn not working, though the job sheet says loose earth terminal, clean and reconnect.

Quite easy to do if they have had the diagnostics machine on it.

Went in at 10am, picked up at 3pm. They say the diagnostics read the ECU and it shows 130k.

We all know what mileage our vans have done. I mean they had it on for a wheel alignment on the 24th Jan and booked it in with 103k on the clock ffs.

Have you had the van from new Paul? Sounds like its been digitally clocked at one point

No, purchased last yr.

Just working it out. I have every mot and a directgov mot history.

Last mot'd April 24th 2012 at 95k, i purchased in Aug 2012 at 101k.

If it now representa the "true" mileage, that would mean 35k in 4 months, then clocked. possible I suppose, lol

Exactly. Too much in a short time to have been clocked.
