They are hoping many things will be wiped out by inflation, it the only way really out of the mess we are in, these cuts are difficult to calculate as inflation will make them a lot less in real term
At present it is estimated you have to get over 7% after tax to just stay still with your savings, giving the same buying power, try to find, it is only going to get worse
I hate these delayed implementation Budgets that have now become the norm, makes the whole thing a waste of time and open to so much negative manipulation out of the eye of the public,at a later date

it was always gony be a sore one no matter what. i'm very surprised that the cigs, drink and fuel duty hasnt increased, these are normally the first three in the firing line.

i'm a civil servant so no wage rise for me in the next 2 years. Not really that bothered anyway as i'm fully aware that i'm pretty well paid for the amount of work i do. Job security and a decent pension is amongst the highest of my priorities so i'm well set where i am, and appreciative of that to!

Although this was expected I'm still a bit shocked it's actually happening. That said, if we'd have still had Labour now and Brown's cronies we'd be going even deeper in debt and they'd have been fibbing us all along saying it's just fine, don't worry, things are getting better - whilst we struggle more and more every day to get work, and then to get paid at the end of it which is a different challenge altogether.
