Good Morning All. Working on a job at the moment where the customer has a Victor floor polisher/cleaner stuck in his garage he is thinking of getting rid of. Firstly are these worth having, thinking more on the lines of large polished marble/porcelain floors to give a final buff with to give my knees a rest? Also is it best to have one fitted with a water pump? Thanks. Kevin

Good Evening.

Here is a photo of the floor cleaner.

It is a Victor sprite 450.

It has not got a water feeding tank but that can be added.

Looks in a very good condition.

Any reason Dave (tradetiler) not to have a high speed polisher?

Any ideas on what a good price for it would be?

Floor polishers are something i know nothing about.

Cheers

Kevin

I think your first job for Btm, roughly 20years ago in Peterborough for Laings? I can still smell the sugar now!

My first BTM job was 26 years ago back in 1987, cant remember where (with the guy I learned the ropes from)

That Peterborough job was a nightmare, I have some pics somewhere

Hi Kev , IMO mate it is to high a speed for cleaning floors , ok for buffing and burnishing etc.. when spending pennies it is wise to have around 200rpm and 450rpm but if a single speed is required then the lower would be my choice...

as for how much ... average is £100 to £200 for a decent one and higher for really good to new ones.
