Has any one done any of the Victorian tile courses and how did it work out for you, work or no work, concidering the climate at the moment.

The reason I ask is that I have a spot on "Tilers in your area" and out of the tilers on there no one does victorian floors.

The courses are about 700 notes for five days, any solid feedback would be appreciated

Time's Ran Out

Morning Lads! -When I first considered doing Victorian floors it never crossed my mind to 'learn' how to do them!
Even now it puzzels me to know what it is that you can be taught.
They are certainly not for people with little or no experience in tiling to attempt, but to a tiler with a few years trading it should be an interesting extention to a portfolio.
The basics are just the same as any tiling job and its only the measurements and a lot of patience thats required.
Since I've been adding my little bits of 'wisdom' to the Tilers Fforum, I've been very pleasantly surprised with the feedback that the Victorian tiling has aroused, and apart from that Dave, found the input very rewarding!

OPEN INVITATION -If either of you lads would like to spend a day with me on a Victorian floor, then just PM me and we'll take it from there.

John.
