hey guys,

im looking at tiling my path in the victorian style(black and white diagonal)
i was wondering what adhesive, grout would be best and also if you know the best places to get hold of this style tile, quarry i think.

also i notice that my path is damaged either by wear over time or by roots under the concrete causing movement.
how would i go about praparing the area to tile so that i wont have to re-do it again a few months down the line because of the dame problem?

advice much appreciated...

We all have dame problems mate, give her a slap:lol:

Joking aside if you have root problem's try viagra

right seriously if you re tiling the path you will have to take up the old substrate and re-new ,then tile otherwise the problems will be an ongoing thing.

Sorry for the jokes:yes:

there are a few factories that manufacture these tiles ,old english do them and original style .the original path should be removed and a 3" thick concrete base should be laid with a slight fall to take the rain water off of the path i always do outside work in sand and cement but you can stick these tiles down with spf adhesive as long as its frost proof rated and the base is flat enough to take the tiles
hope this post helps you
