Mad innit... just shows how racing protection has progressed.. not just the cars but the spectators as well.

This is the daddy of them all from Le Mans in 1955. 80 fatalities and 120 injuries and they didn't even stop the race.

Its ironic, but in a lot of those cases it seems the fact they werent wearing a seatbelt may have saved their lives
