I undertake all sorts of DIY/Handyman work but seem to be increasingly asked to do tiling.
I currently have a small Vitrex 30cm dry cutter, an old Challenge (Argos) wet cutter and about a year ago I bought a Plasplugs Master Tiler {with a Macrist blade as per forum recommendations}. I have managed with these up to now including doing a kitchen/diner, utility and corridor floor with 60cm square tiles.
I am thinking of getting a large 60cm+ dry cutter. Having looked in the forum the majority recommend Rubi with some favouring Sigma, both of these are pretty pricey.
Has anybody an experience of the Vitrex Big Clinker 610mm cutter, which is available at under £100 compared with £150+ for the cheapest Rubi of a similar size?
I have had a look at the Vitrex web site but it doesn't give much info.
I want to sort this by the end of the month as I am doing a complete makeover of a kitchen and utility in June for my most critical customer - the wife {fair play she has only been waiting about 5 years} and it would be a good test/practice with a new cutter.
