Pulled up 3.5 Sq M of Vynl Tiles in a bathroom today. Wooden floor underneath was rock solid but covered in Bitumen adhesive, (some of it still sticky). Any suggestions re treating it and tiling on top or is the only way to ply it? As the customer isn't keen on taking the loo and basin out I would like to avoid adding thickness to the floor.
