We purchased wet wall panels for the shower area, we were told they are becoming very popular, and then planned on tiling the rest of bathroom, but every tiler we have spoken to so far are happy to do the tiling but not willing to touch the wet panels, none of the tilers we speak to have done them. We are beginning to wish we had never bought them now :( Also if tiling an upstairs bathroom with wooden floor, what sort of preparation do we need to do to the floor, I have heard if it's not right the tiles will lift when the floor moves! I hope someone can please advise me

I had the same problem with my bathroom. I brought the wall panels and they were fitted professionally. If they are the same ones as what you brought - I will have to say, they are easier to clean but can show everything. Tiles break up a wall, whereas the wall panels really show every splash and mark.

Cleaning is harder as every mark left is highlighted more...

I bet they are very easy to install!! some tilers are just scared of anything that doesn't involve small rectangular/square shapes and adhesive. If you've exhausted your local supply of tilers then try a carpenter. But scrutinise the manufacturers installation advice particularly
with the water proofing recommendations.

We've done a few and as long as the overall scheme flows they look great! Especially like the slate effect panels with chrome trims. As long as the only joints are internal corners, are well fixed and sealed, they will last for years without dirty grout. Still quite expensive and usually need 2 people to handle the 2.4metre lengths.
The floor will require a plywood underlay topped with either a cement based tile backer board or decoupling membrane.
