Belt and bracers - yes.
But most important is that the bath is fixed well to the wall and supported on all edges for movement - ie framed out. Then Silicon seal before you tile and tank at least the shower end and bath main wall up to ceiling. Then Silicon seal again from tiling to the bath and make sure the shower dial and outlet have no leaks or holes for the water to ingress.
