just while the subject of weber is here, can anyone give me their thoughts on weber.set rapid vs kerakwik? or indeed on any other weber adhesives if they have any experience of them. never used them before, and was wondering how they are. i see a few people here saying good things about them, and they're well priced at ctd, but always shied away from buying them before. any of your thoughts on this would be appreciated. cheers.

Weber is a sound product, Never had issues with any I have used.

ok, thanks.i'm starting a bathroom tomorrow, so i'll think i'll get some weber gear in for it for a change. are the grouts any good, or should i stick with mapei ultracolour? and while i'm at it, how would you rate ardex grouts? i've used them for floors before, but never walls.

For white grout I always use Weber. Coloured its Mapei unless Ardex give me free stuff.

ok, thanks. that's a surprise with the white grout. i'll go with weber on the grout tomorrow then too. something a bit different to look forward to. i'll let you know how i get on with them on monday, when i hope to finish it.

i'm lucky here. i can get mapei, bal, ardex or weber locally. and granfix and nicobond pretty close too, though i rarely use them. lots of choice round here.

Oh I can too but my main dealer will always undercut anyone so I tend to stay with them.

i haven't been round here that long so still getting to grips with local suppliers etc, but seems to be very good prices at all of them. especially ctd. they're very good on just about everything.

I've been using weber a bit lately and I'm impressed with it too, I prefer Mapei but it's probs 20 mile round trip to my nearest mapei supplier.

Sorry that should have read that for white wall grout the choice is Weber or BAL. They get me Mapei adhesives or Biscem.
