Discuss Website - google spiders - advice in the British & UK Tiling Forum area at TilersForums.com.

I am currently revamping my website to keep up to date with the competition. It is currently offline and I am starting from scratch as I deleted the lot.

What I can remember is that there was a lovely long post in telling me how to get my website to the top of the search when people search for 'tiling in alnwick, bathroom refurbishment in alnwick' etc !

Is this still in the forum or can someone direct me to somewhere where I can get this info. Im not have much luck searching here myself.

Thanks very much peeps.

I have just had a look at this for you. You shouldn't have any difficulty being number 1 for these terms as their is zero competition and not much traffic through. I would just create an individual page for each of the search terms your going after.

Call the page:
www.yourdomain.com/tiling-in-alnwick
www.yourdomain.com/alnwick-tiling
www.yourdomain.com/alnwick tiler

In the page title use
Tiling in alnwick

write min of 400 words about Tiling in alwick (this has to be unique do not duplicate copy from your own site or steal)
Add a few images to your site and use alt text as "tiling-in-alnwick" and the actual image file name.

Get as many links as possible from tiling websites

You shouldn't need much more than this for these keywords as zero competition.
Also use Google traffic estimator to see what search volume you would receive for the keywords before spending lots of time on one particular keyword (this will give you local number of searches per month) https://adwords.google.com/o/Target...000&ideaRequestType=KEYWORD_STATS#search.none

ALTERNATIVE OPTIONS
tiling in alnwick
alnwick tiling
alnwick tiler
