Im in the middle of creating my website and a little confused about the SEO and what to out in there. Any ideas what works best?

I only use mine as a portfolio really. Something to direct people to when I quote.
There's plenty of peeps on here though who are well up on it all I think.

 

[High Peak Tiling]

I am having my website build for me at the moment.
The Search Engine Optimisation for my website is going be made up of organic and paid Adwords.
Which shall be tied into the wording contents of my website.
