Gaz @ Topps will be moderator of The Retailer forum and the Retailers Only Forum.
dhceramics will be moderator of the Tiling Forums and sub-forums.

Well done to the new monderators...

But really, isn't it a touch over-kill for a forum with such a small REGULAR member base?

Well done to the new monderators...

But really, isn't it a touch over-kill for a forum with such a small REGULAR member base?

I was wondering, wether there was actually much work for mods on here, as the normal work load for mods on forums are moving messages and watching out for inapropriat posts, and spamming, which isn't a problem on here.

You're right. You wouldn't normally have this many moderators for a forum with such a low member count, let alone the regular member count.

To be honest. The extra features and tools the moderators have are limited. And all they do extra is erase / move posts, which some forums allow all members to do.

I'd love to trust all members with that task only we'd have too may posts go missing I think.

Giving the most active members rights to moderate and control the new posts is only the right thing to do I feel. It's your forum and if you use it enough you can do what you want with it.

Thanks to all moderators for their hard (not so hard?) work and thanks for all members for theirs too. One day when the forum is huge, we will have experienced moderators ready at hand, only due to them being trusted and given the role early. :)
