just done a conversion on aud to pound if your paying 1.29 pound a litre of diesel thats $2.15 aud
we currently pay $1.26 aud for diesel wich converts to 0.76 pound
wonder if Rob z can add to this

just checked 1 us gallon equals 4.55 litres which is about 27 pence a litre the plot thickens:yikes:

Hi Jay, one of our gallons has less than 4 metric liters....I'd have to look it up but I think it might be about 3.8 liters per gallon.

Gas here in the DC area is about $3.00 or a little less. I just paid $2.77 yesterday.

$3.00 US is equal to 1.95 GBP as of today. So about 2.00 GBP for 4 liters of gas.

$3.00 US is equal to 3.24 AUD as of today.

Here's where this damn metric system is screwing us....Stella Artois is sold in 300 ml bottles, so for every 12 pack we're getting ripped off of almost ONE ENTIRE BEER!!!!:mad2::mad2::yikes::yikes:
