You and you wife will understand the difference between a B&Q or even Brewers wallpaper and the type of papers I know the are looking at then! - Bruno Triplet, Stereo and Cole & Son.

I met the interior designer today and he did mention that the customer had turned him down flat for Colefax & Fowler becuase of the price, I think most papers will be grasspapers which are normally sold by the meter, how much is the average C&F by the meter? I must admit I've never any hung C&F papers so this could have been my first.

That must be where your attention to detail comes from dagger, all good decorators have it

I think he might have been refering to the hall for the C&F then
28 rolls Cole & Son print £700
or
28 rolls C&F print £2,100

that's quite a saving I suppose.

Thing is with this job I think i'll end up re-doing it, I had to make sure they were aware grasspaper doesn't give a uniform finish and each drop will shade and be clearly visable from the next... The interior designer is aware but i'm not sure the client really is:yikes:

cole and son has no bearing on colefax and fowler,
and the prices i quoted is retail, however if you are working with this kind of stuff you are top of the table.

It took 6 weeks to get the design right and i'm still not 100% on how it curls into the 'C'
