Zante is lovely. Went to alykanas a couple of years ago and kalamaki about 8 years ago. When to laganas with the mates when it was mental,rough week that

My wife and I are "Espanophiles." We don't eat or drink out, don't do cinema, theatres or concerts. But we work our backsides to pay for 4 holidays a year (6 weeks in total) on the Costa Del Sol, where we eat, sleep, sunbathe, drink lots of San Miguel, and do nothing more strenuous than read and walk. Last holiday was 2 weeks in May, next is 2 weeks in October.

The price is (all kids left home and have their own families) working lots and lots between the holidays. I am currently on a 12 day stint of 11 hour days without any time off. But we think its worth it.

We generally stick to the Benalmadena/Torremolinos/Fuengirola area. Have tried random hotels, villas (for family holidays) and timeshare apartments.

Just got back from belek turkey. 1st time in an all inclusive and it was excellent. All the drinks and ice creams were all branded such as cornettos, coke, sprite etc etc. the hotel had a water park and tbo it succeeded all my expectations. The service, the quality and cleanliness were 1st class. Really impressed and i would reccomend it to anyone on here ;0)

The hotel was called riu kaya palazzo with thomson..

the riu hotels are fantastic value for money cant beat them staying in one in the cape Verdi isles in December
