Wet cutter chipping final part of cut?

Then they are more likely to snap via the vibration of the wet cutter than a quick sharp snap of a tile scribe and your hands, to be fair.

Give it a go too.
 
Thanks for all the replies. I think I was allowing the tile to rotate around the blade at the last moment so it was shearing off. By slowing down and holding the tile firmly my problem went away.

As a general rule what is the best (most reliable, accurate etc) way of making straight cuts? Should I use the wet saw or a score and snap cutter?
 
A good manual cutter.
Sod trapsing downstairs and out to the wet cutter for each straight cut i had to do. I'd have thighs the size of tree trunks and lung capacity of a hot air ballon!
