Wet cutter given up the ghost

Well my el cheapo b&q wet cutter has evetually died. Time for a new one but WHICH ONE>

Looked at the Rubi ND200 but its pretty expensive considering the size of tiles it can cut .

Anyone got any alternatives or is the rubi one the best?

depends what your cutting and how much your using it but the plasplug wet cutters are good value but they went belly up and i dont know if you can still get em , norton wet cutters are worth a look, try the search engine for "wet cutters" there has been many threads on the subject and our own Dave has road tested the rubi nd200 so look that up as well..

Plasplugs did go bump, they got bought out by Turner Intl. Which just happens to be run by the same people that ran Plasplugs. I imagine their cutters will be back on the market soon. But that is a guess.

Got the ND200 myself..........had it for a few years now, and It has been a bloody great cutter. Need to replace it very soon mind, as the bearings are screaming, and can't be replaced :mad2:

but being a table saw(cheers Mark), surely the size of tile is irrelevent, aas you push it through the blade

i have 3 plasplugs and love them also got a rubi wet cutter which i never use as i love the plasplugs...easy to set up and very mobile.
