Hey all after seeing the thread re: Sigma V Rubi I thought we could look at wet cutters. Not talking about bridge saws but the general day to day wet saw you use on domestic work.
For me I have a vitrex 700w wet cutter for domestic work. Firstly it was not dear, so cheap to replace, I think i paid circa £80 for it. The blade with it is okay, not perfect but done well for the first couple of months. It's easily transportable can deal with most tiles and has 2 major benefits in that as long as you do not over fill the water chamber it does not cover you in water spray and the second it has a channel around it's edge so water on the table runs back into the water chamber.
I have not had a plasplugs, Briccolino, Rubi etc and it would be good to get your own thoughts.
Like most, I probably use a grinder more often than the wet cutter but it would be good to know especially with regards to water spray and dripping off the table itself what you guys recommend and why
