Discuss Wet UFH and sub in the UK Tiling Forum area at TilersForums.com.

Just wondering what everyones thought are about sub.

After disscussion with builder about sub floors on wet ufh. ok so ufh is layed then chipboard sub ontop, I suggested 15mm ply ontop to ensure strength then mapeitex followed by tile.

He wants chipboard the backerboard and tile.

so whats the best option in everyones opinion for strength and importantly heat transfer?
