Hi Peeps
Done a fair bit of reading on how the wet under floor heating should be warmed up prior to tiling and then after.
But theres a fair bit of difference both from advice from screeding firms thats given to customers and from info online. Thought it would be good to seek clear advice thats works.
Screeders said gradually heat up over 24hours until max, leave for 24 hours on max then switch off. Then I've read leave on for 3 days, others Ive read leave on 48 hours. The only area a agreed on it seems is the raising of the heating initially over 24 hours. Then most info suggests leaving the tiles down 2 weeks before gradually warming the heating 1 degree at a time.
Whats your thoughts and practises. Be good to know
Cheers

We've also stated that "As the system is used for first time, the mixing valve must be set to minimum setting to let the moisture in the screed to dry out. The temperature should be increased by 2 degrees every day until the mixing valve is set at 45°C (about 5 days)."

If this procedure is rushed then it could cause problems in the long run.
