That osma fitting might fit, it might not. It’s pot luck

No only pushes in about half way because the boss adapter isn't long enough. Picture probably explains it better

That’s fine, I was just looking at the pic before and it looked like it could go further.

It’s no different to gluing a Boss adaptor in.

Provided it’s not really loose, by the time the weld has melted in, it’ll be a solid joint. Keep in mind that it takes a good amount of time to fully set.

You can glue fittings direct to a Marley boss, you can get 2” fittings that have a smaller female end with boss written on them.

Hahaha give me a little credit! I haven't seen the smaller end ones before, I was actually going to use my mitre saw to cut a bit off to get the same result, but I'll keep my eye out for some of them!

Also worth abrading the fittings with sandpaper prior to gluing.
