No only pushes in about half way because the boss adapter isn't long enough. Picture probably explains it better

That’s fine, I was just looking at the pic before and it looked like it could go further.

It’s no different to gluing a Boss adaptor in.

Provided it’s not really loose, by the time the weld has melted in, it’ll be a solid joint. Keep in mind that it takes a good amount of time to fully set.

You can glue fittings direct to a Marley boss, you can get 2” fittings that have a smaller female end with boss written on them.

Hahaha 😳 give me a little credit! I haven't seen the smaller end ones before, I was actually going to use my mitre saw to cut a bit off to get the same result, but I'll keep my eye out for some of them!
