It all depends on what the floor is. I fitted a Tilux into a concrete floor recently but there are other options for wooden floors.
You'll probably find that by going via his site you'll end up paying around the same price that you would going for the shower option, but that more work will be needed, so the customer will pay more.
The Wetroom section of this forum has loads of info. I've also posted my experiences of fitting the Tilux former over there if that's relevent to you.
As someone who had never fitted a wetroom before the only advice I can give you is take your time and don't assume anything. I actually spent more time on this part of the job than I am going to invoice the customer for because I wanted to learn by doing this at a pace that was comfortable for me. I still cocked it up because I thought I knew better, but managed to salvage the situation.
I would have thought that going onto wooden floor would be easier, but I just don't know.
