What are you favourite tile laying out designs / patterns?

some excellent looking work there milan I've done some jobs where there's been a standard layout initially and then mosaics off set by about 30 degrees which I think looks really good, especially in trav or marble

some lovely tiles in the pictures travertine is my favourite look and to work with it sets any room off!

I think if you are using a nice tile or natural stone, don't over complicate with fancy pattern or borders, as the beauty is in the tile.

Done alot of vertical borders and columns latley, and alot of diamond floors. Got afew paths coming up now the wheathers picked up.

True, but after so many same bathrooms it just gets boring.
