That looks pretty good. Rubi do a rail saw also, and i remember a thread about other rail saws as well. I have a festool rail saw and love it, cutting boards is easy and trimming doors is a breeze.

To be honest mate, there is no reason why it wouldn't work at all. I've considered the same for 1m x 1m and bigger tiles! What rpm does yours run at?

Looking at the spec, it runs at 550 rpm. With a 160mm blade.
i will find out the bore of the centre.

any tile blades near this size?
