I wonder Gary if N C have tweaked it at all.

Where i used an emusifying pad there was no residue and very clean.

Also i thought a very nice white as well, though a general word of warning to all,of the many differant mosaics i mounted up in the trial there was a golden covered mosaic and for some reason blue has bled into the grout as it dried and would have ruined a job.

Up to know have never had an issue with Kerapoxy but the starlike took out that urgency when epoxying.

The dirtest white epoxy i have ever come across cement and epoxy is Porcelanosa.

Will never ever use there grout again.

I recently had to rake out there epoxy before it set as it looked so dirty.

Yes 24 hours a day 7 days a week you can ask any of my customers. I'm not happy you had a problem many years ago and im unaware of the full issues regarding this. As i say no manufacturer wants any issues. This is one that i cant comment on that i think has been more than worn out now. I'm glad that in the last 5 years there has only been this one issue. If i had an issue i would do everything in my power to rectify the situation.

By out perform i mean theyre very fixer friendly and are put through a very hard testing process and their final performance. smooth mix, easy on the trowel, high grab, thixotropic, to name a few. It sounds kind of full on saying i will go head to head against any manufacturer in front of any fixers but certain competitors are very quick to slate our products yet when it comes to the crunch wont stand up... There lots of good brands out there and im in many shops along side them quite happily getting feedback on our products and theirs.

Thanks for your comments Gary id say that may be the mix is to dry, all our adhesives mix slightly wetter than other brand and it does take a little getting use to. I try and get to see every fixer in my area that is going to use our product, mainly to answer any questions and also to make sure when they mix it they are happy and i can highlight the benefits to ensure its used at its best.

The Fugalite grout has different technology to epoxy grouts. The sand particles are 98% Silicon quartz sand which is probably the highest grade sand available. Each of the 31 colours then gets glazed on the the particles at 800 degrees. This process is the repeated with a water proofing layer. Once this is complete you have millions of tini ceramic particle (This is where the name liquid ceramic was born) It is then mixed with a resin hardner before application. Once set you have a full ceramic surface. The benefits are also in the application and wash off... a big plus is you wont thrown any of your tools away sponge included. It is fully stain proof and water proof. A great new addition in the neutral colour for glass mosaics.
The Eco side of the product is also a great benefit to the fixer. A lot of people think the eco is just the ozone etc... in fact its the chemicals that go in to the products. All epoxy grouts have very harmful chemicals in them that can for example.. effect fertility, add danger to unborn children and also DNA changing... like with our other products these toxic chemicals have been removed.

Yes the brown bag idea would be a good move ha-ha although with brand being a huge factor i doubt ill get that one passed =0s lol Although regarding price issues if you look over the coverage it is a lot better. I have a guy using H40 tenaflex on walls at River island and with a 6mm trowel he's getting 11-12m2

Spanish tiler I'm up north every week =0) im based in the north west, if you let me know where your based i will sort a demo out no problem. If your around newcastle on Thursday theres a big trade day at westerhope tile centre where all products will be demoed....

cheers

How many years ago was this?? i suspect many.... Not that thats an excuse i assure you it isnt Dave. As with all companies when the company started in the UK they employed x amount of staff... most didnt stand the test of time for many reasons.... the above comment being one im sure as thats not acceptable under any circumstances. The team now stands very efficiently and reacting fast to every call. Many fixers i see have never seen an adhesive manufacturer direct. Where they have made the effort to go and see them whilst working.

I just like yourself am not happy with some of my less than quality predecessors. All are no longer at the company and havent been for some years now. Im sure all manufacturers have had the same issue where they employ someone to do a job and then trust them to do it at a certain level only to find they would rather drink coffee and play golf.

tenaflex is 25kg bag adhesive and renders 11 -12sqm with a 6mm trowel tilemaster light weight 15KG bag renders 11-12m2 with a 6mm trowel excellent grab and nice to use less harmful to the environment as the transport costs per m2 are lower also they manufacture here in the uk so again greener than using a adhesive manufactured in Italy , l John your products are good but as you say its all about your brand when your rep visited me I got a kerkol moto gp calender ,a cap and a pen but would budge on a volume pallet price and you sell through a distributor in the s.e which is no good for me as I prefer a direct account

Yes the south east is mainly driven through distribution if im not mistaken Trimline? not my area so ive no control on it...although direct accounts are still available depending on location. The tile master adhesive i come up against a lot as i live about 20 minutes from their depot..and from what i hear its nice gear and a good price, although 6mm trowel gets you 9m2. Totally agree im no fan of hats pens etc... lol no use to man nor beast. I have brought this up in many a meeting ;0)

used loads of their lightweight and it yields 11-12sqm on a 6mm trowel perhaps you mixed it too dry John as it takes a lot more water than conventional adhesives lol
