What is this flooring? Pebbles?

Hi my girlfriend's friend has this in her bathroom...it was in when she moved in. pretty sure its basically pebbles glued to the floor....or is this some kind of tile?

Its probably a resin holding it all together, seen it before but never in a domestic bathroom.
They do driveways like it .

It is held together by a resin, i watched a guy do it in a bathroom we fitted an he troweled it out and made It smooth with a finishing trowel.

Cheers for the replys guys! im guessing its a clear resin you would use? ive never used resin before is it just like tile adhesive? how would you apply this to the floor? it couldnt work with a 6mm spreader could it? would u basically skim the floor throw the stones down and float them flat?

Then some kind of application on the top or resin again?

I've never used it, but I think you mix the stones and resin together, then spread it out and tamp flat

its a" stone carpert" like tommyzoom said.its usually an epoxy resin mixed with the aggrigate and layed with a trowel to a flat finish.Very pretty to the eye and very hardwearing.

Yep looks like Stone carpet.
It's being used everywhere, interior and exterior. Its laid kinda like a screed and then floated. Good thing is you can lay it to falls, and even create coves and up stands.

After watching a few video's on youtube it seems quite easy to do!...get your base flat....roller on the resin.......sprinkle the pebble.....float........more resin on top once dried!......simples!........added bonus...no cuts

two of my uncles have this done in their hallways.
both cover over now. one with tile one with lino.
they found it cold and hard to keep clean. the colours in one of the halls made it look dirty all the time no matter how much you cleaned it
