What to use for bathroom "table".

Hi guys, I want to ask what should I use to build "table" in which sink would sit. Should I use plywood with backerboard on it, or ply on its own or backerboard on its own or maybe somethink different. Hopefully you understand what I mean otherwise I try to get picture what I mean.

Hi, timber frame work and wbp plywood coated with backer board,(marmox,hardibacker_ or similar should be fine.

Same as above for me, wooden frame, ply for structure, then cement board as a suitable tiling surface.

40m wedi/marmox boards. Fully protected against moisture and humidity expansion. Then tile the whole structure.
If you wish to have a cupboard type , with door etc then as above.

But open plan shelves type unit is quite modern.
