What tool do you use for mixing bagged adhesive?

Mixer for me, unless only small amounts. Using rapid set and mixing with astick eats into the working time when I do it. Mixer is much quicker. I have the silverline one as well.

Drill with mixing paddle at the moment, might invest in a propper mixer if I go from tubbed to cement for everything.

99 No its not a speedy its a sparky 1050 watt and it was 130 quid but probably all the same, wouldn't like to mix bagged adhesive with a drill driver and grout paddle though. Steve.

I've had the same one for a few years, it will easily mix a full bag of bonding or finishing plaster....Mark.

Not with you Pete! You have been at it a lot longer than me so you know exactly how much water to powder to use, I'm still a Learner.

If i use powder addy its nearly always fast set so I generally only want half a bucket at a time max, so I find a small electric drill and grout whisk perfect for the job, sometimes use an 18v cordless for small amounts, no problems.

Ive been using a 18V cordless. Struggles on big floors. Just bought a mixer off ebay, about £50 quid from Germany. I will let you know how it holds up as im laying 30m on Thursday.

I've got the one from Nett,very good but I think I've seen it somewhere on the net for £70.

Using a stick?Sod that!

Wouldn't use a combi drill either for large amounts,they will burn out.

Hi, I use a 750 watt electric drill with 80mm dia paddle, I can easily mix 3/4 bad of flexi floor adhesive no probs.
