What Wet Saw do you use?

Hi what wet saw do you use? I am looking for a new one as my Vitrex - QEP Pro-750 Has broke and tbh I have never thought it was very gd.

Any recommendations?

i use that same saw, does me fine with a marchrist blade although i don't use it much , only when the sigma can't cut, i.e. 'L' shapes or trimming or stone

No more than £200 really but would consider spending more if someone can recommend a good one?

Maybe i should buy another Vitrex - QEP Pro-750 and a Marcrist blade = £163 from trade tiler?

I had the vitrex, with a marcrist blade. Used it for a few months with no issues, but then one day came to some tough porcelain tiles and was cutting them, then noticed a strange smell and immediately after the blade moved and the whole thing stopped working. Turns out the motor had got so hot it melted off its moorings, the blade then dropped down, and cut a groove in the bottom of the water well, and had started to cut into the customers concrete floor!

Blade is still working vitrex is in the skip. Currently trying to save for a Rubi ND200.

I've had a few cheaper ones and have now got an ND200. When I first used it I fell in love, brilliant machine, works like a charm. Never used the guide cutter before on previous machines because I found them a bit of a faff but with the nd200 it slides into place instead of putting it down and locking it. This makes life very easy as you can mark your tile then run the slider into place, dont bother locking it, to give you something to run against as you cut. Just helps you get a straighter cut with no extra effort. And with all that lovely shiny chrome she's sexier than megan fox in her undies!! If you can spare the extra cash then I'd just go for it. You wont regret it and it'll last you

I have the bigger brother of the ND200.. i have the Rubi Diamante D200 fully stainless steel machine..about £650 they are

And like quite a few on here now.. also have the Dewalt D24000 saw..

I got an e-mail newsletter from Rubi the other Day they are selling off refurbished stock at discounted prices it says to contact your local rubi stockist,all the cutters come with 3 month warranties they have both mechanical and electric cutters for sale hope this helps I fancy the nd300 as a tiler I know has one and raves on about it all the time

Love it... check the tools review section to see a review on it.. i coupled mine with the montolit DNA blade..

Theres a company selling an end line cutter Rubi DS230 bridge saw for £450 including vat.

Never used the montolit blade but got one on order so looking forward to seeing how it goes. Always used Rubi with the nd200. I'll check that review out, cheers mucker

I have the De-walt wet saw, put a marcrist blade into it n is fab but ive only used it once in the last year, we use the "Tommy Walsh" one with a marcrist blade every day n its as good as anything else as long as its not a big job. had a customer at porcelanosa last year & they told him that they could cut a 600 square porcelain tile without chipping the edge!!! the edge was visible & i had to do a test cut to prove to them that u couldnt get a " factory " finish on the tile.

Forgot about this post but wanted to say that I got the montolit blade, set it to work and oh my! It is quite literally the monty and I am now a fully paid up member of the fan club! They aint cheap but they are bloody fine blades!

I use a Montolit Brooklyn bridge saw, an old old plasplugs master tiler which just refuses to die, and as soon as I am free of tax payments this month I intend to buy a Dewalt 2400.
I like the look of the Montolit Tornado but seeing as there are zero real-life reviews and no 30 day money back, I'm not taking the chance with it.
Oh, and I use montolit dna blades too in everything except the grinder!

Yeah the Tornado looks great, but the laser line potentially smacks of cheapness to me.
Also rumoured to be made in China but not sure if that's true or not - or if it even matters anymore?!
The Dewalt has loads of happy owners.

Think the laser could be useful, but going by the reviews the Dewalt is a better buy.
