Im the same as Mike, i changed to a monti blade & its awesome.

I posted before that there wasnt much difference between the monti & the marcrist but i take it back as the monti is a far superior blade.

I have the Pro-Gres blade in my grinder & it eases through the toughest porcelain with zero kick back.

Back to the original blade in the dewalt (Broke marcrist blade) but when i come to change i will be getting a montolit DNA

Put a 180mm wheel on my Vitrex last year from some place recommended on here. The blade cost about £30 and cuts through everything with ease and still loads of life in it about a year and a half later. Can't beat it for the money, doesn't chip either.

The DNA blades are brilliant, yep it costs more, but why put up with rubbish kit, also the monolit blade for the grinder is superb, makes awkward cuts around sockets really easy, but make sure you have a small grinder as the wheel may be smaller than the grinder body (if that makes sense)?

Take it you are talking about the Montolit Squadro?

I have the 115mm Pro-Gres & the Squadro, its great for cutting a hole out the middle of a tile.
